About the Program

The China University Bridge Program provides a clear and flexible 1+3 pathway for students aiming to study in Mainland China or Chinese Taipei.

Phase 1: Year 1 – Bali (Bridge Stage)

Students will complete 1 year of academic study at ITB STIKOM Bali, focusing on:

• Chinese language development

• Academic foundation skills

• Preparation for Chinese university study

• Academic thinking and study skills

Phase 2: China (Progression Stage)

After completing the Bridge Program, students can choose one of the following pathways:

Option 1: Degree Pathway

• Continue directly into a bachelor's degree program at an university from Mainland China or Chinese Taipei

• Complete 3–4 years of study in Mainland China or Chinese Taipei

• Graduate with a degree awarded by the Chinese university

Final Degree: Awarded by the Chinese university

Students will also have the opportunity to apply for scholarships at partner universities in Mainland China or Chinese Taipei, depending on their academic performance and admission results.

Option 2: Exchange Pathway

• Study as an exchange student at a partner university in Mainland China or Chinese Taipei

• Complete selected courses and academic credits

After the exchange period:

• Return to ITB STIKOM Bali to continue and complete your studies

Final Degree: Awarded by ITB STIKOM Bali

University students can join the Bridge Program and, after completing Year 1, transfer into an university in Mainland China or Chinese Taipei through academic progression or credit transfer.

Bridge Program Curriculum

This program is designed to prepare students for Chinese university study, including:

• Chinese language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing)

• Academic Chinese (reading, writing, and presentations)

• Foundational academic subjects

• Critical thinking and study skills

After the Bridge Program

Upon completion of Year 1, students will progress into one of the following:

✔ Chinese University Degree Pathway

• Apply and enroll in a bachelor's degree program in Mainland China or Chinese Taipei

• Choose your major and academic direction

• Apply for scholarships (where available)

✔ Exchange Program Pathway

• Study at a partner university in Mainland China or Chinese Taipei as an exchange student
